Print Story I like pancakes more than you
Proudly serving Pabst in a can..

Slow day (week really) today. My equipment here at work got fried so I've got nothing to do really. Nothing that I feel like doing anyway. And nobody really cares. Oh well, I ain't cryin. I'm too tired to work hard anyway today. Not even gonna run tonight.

I'm tired because I didn't get to sleep until after 1 last night. This was because I went down to see a show at the Double wide, a bar in Deep Ellum. I went out with the girl who sings for them, hopefully I'll get to go out with her again, maybe this weekend. I didn't even get to talk to her last night, I bailed right after they finished because I knew I'd get lost getting home, sorta like I did getting there. So I'm really sore and tired today. Kinda want a nap right now...probably make some coffee instead.

Went to San Antonio last weekend with my buddy, hung out with the doctor down there. It was all good. As my sister mentioned to me on the phone, it's really weird that some girl likes me that much. She was joking (sorta), but I wasn't. This may well be the first time that anybody was really generally interested in me, like as a whole person. It's kinda nice actually. Fortunately I don't think she's got any intentions on making this serious which is perfect for me.

I finally ended up buying that expensive ass couch from Crate & Barrel. I'm also thinking about buying a $100 floorlamp from Eurway. And a flat screen computer monitor to replace my 7 year old, red-tinged behemoth. And a car. And a flat screen HDTV, and a brown corduroy blazer, tennis racket, frisbee, and a week long vacation in Ibiza.

This may turn out to be an expensive year.

Anyway...I made some easy chicken curry this week, red pepper & onions, curry powder, chicken, simmered with yogurt, golden raisins, and more curried powder. It's been pretty good. I made turkey meatloaf last week (half ground turkey, half ground sirloin). I make lm's coleslaw about once a month nowadays, it's really convenient and well hot. I think walmart might stop selling my omega 3 eggs which means I got to by them from the farmer's market store for $1 more per dozen eggs...$2 a week, that's an extra $100 a year. Great.

My mp3 player can't play songs in their track order. Which is irritating. So I will have to join them and play them as a CD which is alright. Hopefully I remember to try to get the mp3s to misstrish who said she'd like some new drum & bass.

Speaking of that I might try that last or whatever thing some of ya'll are posting about. Either that or I'll get my lazy ass on IRC and get my DJ lawyer friend to send me a fuckton of good music. Now that I got my external HD set up (160 gigs woo) I can offload my anime and download enough music to make my ears bleed.

ahhh, coffee. Perhaps the best thing ever. Or possibly second, to watching girls butts move.

I'm hoping New Orleans win the NFC championship game this weekend because the Pats will beat the Chokes and I do NOT want to see them win another SB. Nor do I want to see Chicago win.

Workouts are going well, I'll be moving onto the next phase soon (hypertrophy).  I'm trying to time it right though so my week or so off comes the week before the Superbowl. My buddy in Austin is throwing a party that Saturday which will require my attendance.

alright, I'm tired of this.

You like pancakes more than I do, or you like pancakes more than you like me?

You do like me, don't you?

was probably "I like pancakes more than I like you".

Although I definitely like you debacle. You brighten my days, and chase my blues away.

You can build the most elegant fountain in the world, but eventually a winged rat will be using it as a drinking bowl.

How's the back-acne ? Not juicin' are you ? (There's one dude at the gym, no doubt he's juicing based on his massive cystic acne all over .. )

American football, no one left to root for except the colts.. Saints are just a great 'story' and some think that's how the stillers won last year. I've never believed in the pats, and after Seattle's choke-fest (can't blame the refs this time), and Charger's choke, it's hard to root for anyone still in..

As for the doc chick, DTR.

acne alone doesn't mean vitamin s, I know that much. because I also get cystic acne pretty bad on both my face and especially chest. I think it has more to do with my hair gel and not washing my sheets all the time than anything else.

why not root for the Saints? Too much hype/media love? I liked them before the media got all over them anyway and I enjoy seeing Manning suffer.

DTR time is probably going to come up but not yet I don't think. I try not to think about it too much ;)

NE vs Da Bears by Bob Abooey (2.00 / 0) #9 Fri Jan 19, 2007 at 11:36:03 AM EST
I know it's not chic but I'm rooting for the Pats. For one, I hate Peyton Manning. I don't even have a good reason for why, I just don't like him. For two, I think it's nothing short of amazing that Bellicheck and the Pats just keep winning. They lose key players, they lose most of their coaching staff and they're one game away from the big show. Amazing.

I look for Da Bears D to shut down the Saints O, in what could be some crappy ChiTown weather.

So there you have it, look for a NE vs Chi Super Bowl.

Warmest regards,
--Your best pal Bob
